I fixed a thing! A few things in fact. Finally got a chance to jack the Teg up and give her some much deserved TLC.
Is there a wrenching bug? There totally is, and I’ve caught it. Did a coolant flush (there was barely anything in there and the vents blew hot no matter what), new spark plugs and wires and a fresh fuel filter to make her run better than ever...and yet I wanted more . Right down to the little things like oiling the handbrake to stop it squeaking and sorting out a proper little square plate for the front, because JDM bruh, I just wanted to keep going! I seriously adore this car, and goddamn does it feel good.
Went for a drive and met some fellow JDM friends on Saturday night who invited me into their local car club, ‘Kumura Shakai’, or ‘Car Society’ in Japanese. Hopefully we’ll be hanging out a lot more in the near future (pics to come, I promise) and I’ll be heading to a few nearby shows in the coming months. If any UK Oppos happen to swing by Trax at Silverstone next month, give me a shout!
So yeah. Car stuff. Good times. Couldn’t do this with a Corsa...

Thank you! Aside from a sticky bolt here and there she’s an utter joy to wrench on.
